Problem with my first attempt at placing a signal

HI all

I really have tried but I can't work out this signal. Well, it is my first attempt at a signal. I simply want these two trains to deliver coal to the same PS. The problem is, whichever line I put the signal on, the train just sits there and only the other train moves. In the SS, the train is sitting at the signal, and the other train just does it's journey. It think I have tried every type of signal.
