Oh no!! I think I have messed things up!!

I have have playing around with the GDF thingys, and when I start a new game and go to buy a new vehicle, I only have a Goods and a Steel truck to choose from!!!

HELP!!

If you are using dates far into the future or at least far after the introduction date of a vehicle, you will need to enable the vehicles never expire setting, https://wiki.openttd.org/Advanced_Setti ... ver_expire - it will stop vehicles going 'obsolete'. If you are doing this in a current game, you can enable the setting, then go into console (the ` button to the left of 1 on a UK keyboard) and type in 'resetengines', then hit return/enter, and it will flush the vehicle list and apply any changes without starting a new game, or reopening OpenTTD.

I started a new game in 1950...........

Oooh, got my two AIs working!!!

You may be using GRFs that simply don't have any vehicles that early, all GRFs are different and cover a different time frame.

Sorted!! It was Bob and Ameechers Tram Set (BATS) that lost all my vehicles!!

I assume that the trucks are not refittable :shock:
