Hi!
Whenever I want to start a new game I'm getting rough land tiles everywhere.
No matter if Temperate, Arctic, Desert or Toyland, Terrain type, Sea Level, etc.
Has anyone an idea what is the reason for this?
IIRC it occured after testing the Japan Landscape grf, and changing some parameters of it (rice fields..).
But it now occurs even without any additional newgrf added.

Can you share a copy of your openttd.cfg file? It can maybe help figure out what's going on.
Re: Rough land Everywhere
oh yes, I didn't have a look at it.

Re: Rough land Everywhere
It's Joker's patch btw.
If I'm using the JGR patch, everything is fine.

If you cannot duplicate this behavior in the standard OpenTTD client, then you will likely need to seek assistance from the patch pack author.Adamsky wrote:It's Joker's patch btw. If I'm using the JGR patch, everything is fine.

Re: Rough land Everywhere
Thanks!
Actually it was my fault:
In game settings, I've set the "tree line height" parameter too low.
In - game explanation:
"Control at what height trees stop growing and only rocky mountain tiles show up"
All good now!
