Rivers in the Sub-Tropic?

Post by SlyFox »

I'm not sure how this came to be. Apparently, the Sub-tropic climate generates no rivers upon map creation. Image attached of what my maps lok like. The one shown is in Vanilla OpenTTD (1.8.0). Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a fix to this conundrum? Log production is scare. Lumber supplies are low.

I think it's a known problem that sub-tropic map generation is poor, and tends to generate too much desert and too little rainforest.
However, I don't know if there's any different rules about rivers in sub-tropic.
