Issue regarding Company Colors

I'm not entirely sure how this happened, or if the devs simply disabled this feature, but I can no longer have two different colors within my transport companies. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, or am I forced into a one-color rule?

IIRC, company manager (the first button on the left) only gets one color. Vehicles (the rest) get two colors if the vehicles are drawn in a 2CC livery.

If you are playing without NewGRFs that support 2cc, you won't be able to choose a second color.
