Suddenly I have $20 million.. Bug? Other possible explanations?

Post by njn »

I started playing a new map on git master 6e211908588ab5272336d0d2db3bbb4020f7004f, starting in year 2019, and after about a year I see $19,999,400 added to my bank account in the "Other" category. I didn't cheat.. what could have caused this? I've attached a screenshot and the savegame below.

btw yea these tracks are weird I was just trying to recreate this scenario for some reason https://www.reddit.com/r/openttd/commen ... ing_there/

Do you have to have a save or autosave from before this occuring? If so is it repeatable?

Actually, is it a debug build? And could you have press alt+1 by accident?
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.

I don't still have the autosaves unfortunately... i immediately tried to reproduce this in a new map, overwriting the original autosaves.

That said I think it was definitely an accidental Alt-1... seems very likely, this is a debug build and i didn't know about that feature >_<
