Players switching

Hi,
I have a really strange problem, I use network games and I'm allways bored from desync messages, but this is not about it.

I play with my friend and we like our savegames, but sometimes we need to switch the server machine. But when I start a new game, his company is allways mine, and I'm unable to switch to my right company.

I know about parameters -p number, but it's not functional in this case, even if I start the saved game directly from command line.

Is there some way how to do it, switch users when runing, or edit the savegame and change the current user???

just swap save games.

you use his, he uses yours.

No, that's not right
I have tried it, and always the machine that is server is player one.
I have to switch the users somehow during the game on in the savedgame.

If the server always is player 1, then just make the one supposed to be
player 1 make the game and be server?

Or do you have some other problem that makes this impossible?
