Hi there

I recently started playing openttd again and looked up the auto renew function that has to be activated in the openttd.cfg. I set it to true, but vehicles do not get auto renewed in my running game.

Did anyone encounter that problem?

The setting is not visible in advanced settings like in some older versions, even if all options are shown.

Sure? This is trunk, ie even newer than 1.7.1

It's strange. I tried starting a new game and now have this option again. The last game I started was under 1.5.2. Maybe that was the reason?

Would be weird if you didn't have it. Only the window front was changed, so all options would still be available. afaik, especially one that is used so often.
On the other hand, the previous window was messy to search, as it didn't have a search box like we have now.
So it's totally possible you just missed it, I know I regularly had to check all sections in previous versions just to find an option.
