Converting TTDPatch savegames to OTTD

I'm having some issues with opening TTDPatched Scenario's/savegames in OTTD. The trouble I'm having is simply, crash on load, of the TTDPatch savegames.

I'd love some advice on how to convert them over, as many many hours of work has been put into both scenarios and save games.

You can't. Most TTDpatch savegames aren't compatible with OpenTTD, as they use a different format. (See my reply to your giant request post.)

It shouldn't be too hard to make OpenTTD support TTDPatch saved games - it really just has to support the extra data arrays, which are all described in Marcin's excellent document (plus the TTDPatch source code is available for more detailed checking).

The current development haven shown that we don't lack clever developers, so it's the latter that's needed. At least I can't see myself coding that anytime soon
