Hello i am running Open TTD 1.4.1. on Windows 64.

The problem is i cannot see a option to buy shares in other Companies. There is no option for this and i presume the game needs to be patched.

If so what is an easy way to do this?

If the option is not available, the company isn't mature enough to buy.

Or the option Advanced Settings (Advanced Settings)* -> Competitors -> 'Allow buying shares from other companies' is turned off.

The Co's are old enough to buy but the Option for Shares is not there at all. Thats why i asked about the Patch.

You don't need a patch, you need to change the ridiculous* dropdown in the Advanced Settings window to 'Advanced Settings'.

*Filtering settings is fine. The complete insanity of how the filter's implemented currently isn't, as the half- over a dozen threads like this indicate.

I waited 10 years and was still unable to buy shares.

Make sure buying shares is allowed in the adv. settings.
