Crazy cost of building industry!

Hi! I'm trying to get back to this game after many years and I'm playing with very easy settings just to familiarize myself with TTD again.
So I'm trying out different scenarios with different settings, but sometimes I want to create some industry when and where I want it.
And the most important ones are priced at around ten million euros! What kind of a small farm or forest costs 11000000 €?
Can I change this without too much computer wizardry? Please help!

However, this is a game and RL prices are of utter unimportance. You can make use of a base cost newgrf (available fron online content) in new games. Activate that in your games and set its parameters such that industries become cheaper.

Alternatively, set in the advanced settings primary industries to "prospecting" instead of funding. Then their costs will be 1/10th as well, but you can't choose their location anymore.

You can also cheat and give yourself a bucketload of cash. For game testing, it's essential.
