Hosting an Online Game

Post by Acrophis »

Hello.

Basically my problem at the minute is that my servers are unable to be seen on the server list in multiplayer.

I have forwarded the correct ports and disabled my firewall, but I can't get it to work for whatever reason. I am able to play over LAN with my brother with no problems whatsoever.

Here is how I'm forwarding my ports:

(27.83 KiB) Downloaded 3 times
Is this correct?

I've been browsing the help threads using the search function for hours but I can't find anything that's helped greatly so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the master server able to contact you when you start an online game (if you start OpenTTD with -D (capital d that is) you can see command line output. If no response is recorded you have either a windows or modem/router obstructing your connection. Double check everything
- Windows firewall
- Modem firewall where applicable
- Router ports
- Forwarded ports to correct internal IP?
