Cannot join multiplayer game.

Hello,

Could anyone help me here, please? I am trying to join multiplayer game on a stable good working server. But when I join the server, there are several companies. I cannot see their names, though. For better explanation, please, see the attached screenshot. It will tell you more.

I am running 1.0.5 version, so does server. My machine is Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Please advice.

That server appears to be offline (now), as such I cannot check that myself. Did you try to join other servers and do you have the same problem there?

I don't know, mate. Server is up. Just joined there by selecting new company.

Have you tried www.hojko.com as they seem to host it.

I am confused, you can join but not play?

If it is about empty company names, one possible explanation would be that you don't have fonts to display the names.
Did you try other servers?
What happens if you choose a different language?

Do you use the default settings, or do you use custom fonts?

(Just a few random questions, that hopefully gives you inspiration to find the cause.)

Hyronymus, actually yes. I am talking to the owner of the forum. We're buddies. Server is OK.

Alberth, I will answer one by one:

1. I can join for the first time in the game. I can make the company, put the password on it. And play as long as I want. But when I quit the game and join later on to play again. I cannot select my company, because I don't see the names of the companies in the game - therefore cannot join.

2. Yes I have. It is always the same. I cannot see the company names - cannot join.

3. I have tried just now English. Still the same.

4. I did not even knew about custom fonts - so yes, using the default ones that were shipped with the installation.

I appreciate all the help so far. Any other ideas, please?

Can you join as spectator and then join your company? This is more of a work around though.
