Multiplayer problem

Is anyone able to talk me through how to get my server shown publicly for multiplayer? My server can only be seen by my IP address and not nationwide. I switched the settings to Internet(advertised) and still nothing.

To solve this I created a copy of my OTTD game folder to run the server, I then set up the OTTD Config file to how I wish it to run, and then launch ottd from a shortcut in the following format:

"C:\ottdserverdirectory\openttd.exe -D"

That makes it run a server, I can then join it by launching my other install of OTTD as normal and browsing for the server as any other, I've tested and others can see too, hope this helps.
