If there is anything that i can install to OTTD that will show me how far the train travels and how much it earn't that journey, is there such a setting?

There is a patch in development that gives you the distance between two tiles. Not the distance of a railway line though.

For train profit you can watch a train deliver its cargo. Other than that, I don't think there exists something to solve your problem.

About how much the train will earn, you can (roughly) calculate it with the 'Cargo payment rates' graph.
