Yes, use an USB stick or something. :)

The downloaded files (through BaNaNas) are stored in the OpenTTD folder in your MyDocuments.

Please read the readme that you got with OpenTTD. It explains where OpenTTD looks for different kind of files. Note that there are several places in your file system that OpenTTD scans. Some of them are shared between all OpenTTD installations and one is unique to each installation of OpenTTD (if you have several).

AIs go into:
<OpenTTD dir>\ai
or
<OpenTTD dir>\content_download\ai

AI libraries go into:
AIs go into:
<OpenTTD dir>\ai\library
or
<OpenTTD dir>\content_download\ai\library

Check in the AI threads which AI library each AI requires and make sure to also download them. For example, for CluelessPlus version 21, you also need SuperLib 5 and Pathfinder.Road version 3.

As you see, this is a non-trival task. So therefore it is recommended to use the in-game content downloader if you can.
