Are you using the original graphics from the DOS version of TTD?

Download OpenGFX and the problem will be solved, or use the Windows graphics instead of the DOS ones.

Saying "download OpenGFX" is not a solution to his problem, more of an alternative.

You're playing with the wrong palette. This probably means that you force the palette to for example DOS and load the Windows base graphics, or vice versa. To stop it you have to remove whatever forces the palette to be wrong (command line option/openttd.cfg)

I have a similar problem.

I am running a nightly - 18617. I downloaded OpenGFX using the online content and got 2.1. As you can see from the screen shot, the farms are very pink. This is from a new game that was generated. I do not see anything in the .cfg about graphics other than saying use openGFX - any suggestions?

All your colours in the screenshot are fine. Farms in OpenGFX are quite brownish-red as are their fields. Maybe you should calibrate your monitor colour to something more normal, if you don't like the hue? ;-)
