I have recently reinstalled ECS 1.1.2 NewGRF's and none of the vehicles seem to be refittable to the extended cargoes (i.e. Refitting an Oil Tanker to Fertilizer). They don't even show in the "All Available Vehicles" list as refittable and inside of Depots, the refit button is greyed out. I have nothing but the ECS Vectors installed; no NewGRF's are in the list and I have the ECS Town Vector first on the list as shown in the FAQ.

Any suggestions?

The original TTD vehicles do not know anything about the ECS cargoes. You will also need a vehicle set which can activate these cargoes.

As Roboboy pointed to, there is the original Old Wagons with New Cargoes NewGRF for trains. There is also the newer ECS and FIRS Original Vehicles which refits planes, trucks, trains and ships to both ECS and FIRS industry sets. If you'd like a little more enhancement, there is also OpenGFX+ Trains and OpenGFX+ Road Vehicles, both of which also accept PBI/UK Industries, ECS and FIRS cargoes.

Hello,

Why do the ECS Houses buildings start to appear around 1930? 1st era starts from 1920, but i can't see any of those buildings unless i start from 1930.
If i start my game earlier will they still appear in a later game?

Btw.
1) Great work!
2) It's really hard to find latest version of ECS. If i wouldn't search for help here i would still play 1.1.2. Don't know if ingame NewGRFs are 1.2, but those on Your website surely are 1.1.2.

the game automatically detects all houses with the earliest appearance date, and makes them available at game start. by convention, house appearence dates start at 1930, but if you have a house set which does not adhere to this convention, only the houses from that set will be available before 1930.

Hello! I´m quite new in this area. I apreciate realy the ECS vectors since the game is more advanced. But I got some problem with limstone cargo. It does not funciton. I had a version of Openttd from beginig of 2012 (february?) and when I installed the for something like 1 month ago the ECS, the limestone cargo functioned.
But after one week I reloaded the OpenTTD to the last version and when I putted in same order the ECS vectors, the limestone cargo doesn't existed. The lime quarry still remained but without producing anything only accepting vehicles. Does somebody understand what may be reason?

did you update your NewGRFs ?? (Newgrf menu -> select upgrades -> download)

Or possible I got wrong order of Newgrf? If something is clear wrong I would apreciate some advices.

Post the savegame.

But if you changed any of the ECS vector NewGRFs after map creation, I'm 95% sure, that that is the cause for your troubles. NewGRFs are integral part of the map, and especially that's true for industry NewGRFs. So don't temper with them after the map is created, don't shuffle them, don't update them, don't add or remove them.

That holds true for the non-obvious industry sets in your list: Total Town Replacement, ECS Industries Addon, and I don't know what the Polish Building Set does.

But if anybody have a savgame where the ECS function completly (includning limestone cargo) I would apreciate that realy so I can download and check with my Newgrfs.

The ECS Construction Vector is deprecated, and the limestone cargo is part of it. Simply don't use it.

I tried building rigs near cities, but it's still not working..... It won't go higher than 74% even when all ships are new. And it drops slowly to 67%. Statue makes no difference. Advertisment campaigns have no effect.

Hi there,

I see it has been a while that somebody posted here.

I'm playing with all the ECS Vectors 1.1.2, but I can't seem to get banks.
Tried different years to start and the different Gold/Valuables setting, but no luck.

I don't get banks over time in games and in the fund new industry menu, the fund button for banks isn't active.

Does anybody have any ideas how to activate them?

That's the thing, I have the Houses Vector active and is loaded right after the Town Vector. Still no banks.

I found the 1.2 Vectors via the forum and tried with them, but still nothing.
These are the GRF's I use in this order.
