Looking for ALCO FA/FB locomotives?
The only locomotives I found that are close are the PA/PB used for passenger trains.
Has anyone made FA/FB locomotives?

Is it possible to search by locomotive model/railroad name in your website?

Re: Looking for ALCO FA/FB locomotives?
I think you mean mainly US locomotives. In principle, it is not possible. But I've built everything alphabetically. Therefore, one would have to find everything easily.starcraftguy1 wrote: Is it possible to search by locomotive model/railroad name in your website?
But I can try to write a script for the website that is easier to find.

The locomotives work well.
I have two suggestions: change the horn to a US style one, it currently uses a UK whistle or similar. I think it would be better to have the A and B units as separate locomotives.
I was able to change the horn myself.

Re: Looking for ALCO FA/FB locomotives?
Really? I put them together because it saves space. So not so many files are present. Because with 3000+ files in the folder, the menu can no longer be scrolled in the editor.starcraftguy1 wrote:I think it would be better to have the A and B units as separate locomotives.
But of course I can make two files out of it. No problem. Should I do it?
Well, I assume you used the tutorial. So somebody will read that.starcraftguy1 wrote:I was able to change the horn myself.

Actually I didn't use it, because I didn't know one existed.Walter1940 wrote:Really? I put them together because it saves space. So not so many files are present. Re: Looking for ALCO FA/FB locomotives?
Should I actually make two separate files out of this? You can only choose 224 vehicles. If I get them all the parts are 12 instead of 6 vehicles!

Re: Looking for ALCO FA/FB locomotives?
OK, I've split the locomotives now. But as you can see in the picture, there are problems. With 4 vehicle parts it still works. Everyone is looking in the right direction.
But if there are 3 or 5 vehicle parts, then the last part looks the wrong way. I can only change that if I build a reversed FA-1. But then we are at least 3 files per locomotive. That was somehow better solved with the combination of FA-1 / FB-1.
Proposals?

Is it possible to have the rear locomotive in the A-B-A face backwards? If so, that would be ok....Walter1940 wrote:OK, I've split the locomotives now. But as you can see in the picture, there are problems. With 4 vehicle parts it still works. Everyone is looking in the right direction.

Re: Looking for ALCO FA/FB locomotives?
That is the point. Unfortunately, unless I build a flipped version of the locomotive. But then you have to select in the editor of 224 possible vehicles already 3 vehicles. Not efficient in my opinion. So I'm just doing an update with the US horn.
