Sure you have played the game, and talked to the man himself. But I personally doubt this, as you have given not much more then an officially known release month (it's actually 9 september 2004)...

Where is that 1 Gigabyte worth of photo's? Where is your 10 page long review/preview?!?

Patchman what I meant is that the article was "POSTED: 05/04/04" as they say in the bottom of the page. That's a week+ before E3... Not to mention the article's name is "[...] E3 2004 Preshow [...]".

Unnecessary loops and downward slopes in the screenies.

Locomotion should be called 'RollerTrain Tycoon'
Imagination! Here, you learn what it is to be human. You are a creator of order, of beautiful shapes and systems, an organizer of chaos.

Yep I agree :) The only details this person has provided are those found in articles on the web, they incorrectly guessed his accent, have no photos, and can't even tell us which booth the game was at...

According to Chris Sawyer's website the game has not even been officially announced, and the atari website can verify this as there is not one shred of information to found about it on their website.

The game was NOT at E3.

Have to correct you there, my friend:

The company line from Atari:
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/csl ... 96782.html

And here's the list:
http://www.gamespot.com/e3/index.html

Search not for Locomotion, but for Chris Saywer's Locomotion

I'm worrying though, all I see now are preshows... If it has been actually there, have Gamespot/IGN/Gamespy/Etc... forgotten about it

Interesting. Still nothing about it from the corporate website of infogrames or atari.

Which is why I believe it wasn't there. Gamespot wouldn't just do a pre-show about it then suddenly forget about it "ooops". It's probably more along the lines of what happened with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. That game was not at E3, but rockstar games released information and screenshots of it along with launching a website on it.

game play and meeting Chris Sawyer

Post by CZAR ALEKSANDER »

this for the person named Bart:

I was at E3 from May 11-14 and I spent a great deal of time at the Jowood booth and Atrari booth for the two games I like. game play for Locomotion was very good and the graphics are great to look at my talk with Chris we talked about Transport Tycoon Deluxe and Locomotion and many different things between both games Locomotion and I did talk to him about different trains and buses and planes in the new game I hope this answers your questions Bart.

Tell us how Chris looks like, i.e. does he wear eyeglasses? :D

Maybe there's still hope (although I highly doubt it) cause Gamespot is still adding game info from E3.

Yeah, so does IGN/Gamespy... we will see... I can personally imagine Locomotion news doesn't really have high priority...

Gamespot has a full E3 game list, with no locomotion on it.

Roller coaster tycoon was a popular game, so they would surely check it out if it was there.

YES IT IS, but look under "C", and not "L".

It's called Chris Sawyer's Locomotion.

Well, that's one reason why I'm asking. We'll see if he can prove his chat.

He doesn't need to prove it. All he needs to do is to GIVE US DETAILS ON THE GAME.
