Steam Version not compatible win AMI trains

i have the Steam version of locomotion and cant install AMI trains mods do to it not being under the original locomotion files how do i get these mods so i can use them

I think the Steam version has a different path than the original.

It should be C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Locomotion

AMI uses the game as its path but steam has its own path i can add non AMI mods with ease but its says that AMI requires locomotion to install

It's possible that even if you give it the right path, it will not detect your installation because the Steam version acts differently. I have that version, but my files are from a huge Objdata folder that I just copied and pasted when I installed it so I'm not sure if it will work.
