For little boys, three things reign as supreme attention-keepers: tanks, heavy construction equipment, and trains, we all know why where here.

I've seen it very recently in the stores- just check the bargain software bin. I think I've also seen it bundled with other "tycoon" style games. Plus, it is downloadable from the Atari website.

Ah, well in that case:
I'm not quite sure, as it was quite a while ago. But I think I came across the promotional trailer on youtube one day. And as I am, I looked into it and decided it was worth it. Then a friend bought it for me without me knowing.

Re: How do people keep finding this game
I found it at one of my elementary school book fairs many years ago. They had a bunch of them, then I saw the train on the front and I instantly fell in love.
Re: How do people keep finding this game
I bought one copy two years ago in a local game store... It was sitting right next to C&C 3.

Bought mine in GAME when new. £20!
The disc however is now mounted in a frame, along with RCT 1 & 2, and other old/completed games.
Yes, I mount my games, problem?

If I ever find the original box to my TTDX, i'll give you it. Better you mount it and enjoy it than it sits wherever it is.
I have bought 3 VERY cheap copies ($1.99 when i went to states) and gave them to friends. I think it's almost viral.

I'm not quite sure where I first heard about it, but I just picked up my sixth copy of the game having given my other five to friends.
Re: How do people keep finding this game
I got mine used:
$99.99!
It was the only copy but with no box.
But it was worth it!

I wonder if there will be any more Transport Tycoon games ever... It seems only quake-like, arcade and social games are worth enough to companies invest money on their developments...
