why can i not play transport tycoon (windows 95) on windows xp, any help would be appreciated. thanx Derek

Hi,

You need the TTD Windows version from http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=3407 - You will also need the Windows Patch from http://www.ttdpatch.net

C. You are in the wrong forum. This is about Transport Tycoon Original, you are asking about Transport Tycoon Deluxe (you stated it was the win95 version)

D. You could have searched the forums first and read the manual for TTDPatch.

You MUST download the patch to play it on XP... What you have to do is, download the patch, run it once, close the game, open the ttdpatch.cfg file, and remove EVERYTHING except for the line

winxp on

From then on, you can play the game by running the patch.

(this was an answer to that other topic... Confusing... )

That switch is called : win2k on, not winxp on.
