Was TT PSX already there???

Post by pepecito »

After I put the PSX version in my share folder, I wanted to verify it and as I tryied to search it I got its link and... ANOTHER ONE:
ed2k://|file|Transport.Tycoon.(Psx.-.Pal.-.Clonecd).-.By.Doomslinger.rar|314017765|4230CE0BFA9EDF32556BDE20E08BA6E3|/

Anyone knows if it is the same???
If so, I will remove mine, because this other has already 2 sources, while mine has only 1 (mine ) source!

Holy sh*t! that was my first thought!

But watching it closely, the details and appearance dosn't look so good. The certain loveliness disappear in contrast with the TTO. Of course it's fine to play TT on PSX, but for me it's not better then today's TTD.

I thought the same while playing it on PC. I suppose that whole experience is a lot beter when the game is displayed on TV screen, which is not as sharp as monitors and all these details go away ;) I must make some use of TV-Out and check how it looks on TV Screen.

btw. I bought it and gave it here over year ago, and during last year I played it only few times (unlike OTTD and TTD with Patch). It's just not as interesting as OTTD and TTD with Patch

I've must agree with RadekK, playing TTD with patch or OTTD is better for now. Maybe some new version of PS TT, will satisfy me.

P.S: RadekK, great polish men was burried last weak. Karol Wojtyla better knowed John Paul II., was unexpectionable human being. Condolence on his death.

Yes, that'll be easy, especially as we don't have the source code, the PS1 uses some weird custom system and nobody realistically can be bothered with TTO any more. Then someone's going to write TTDPatch for TTO!

Can't see it happening, sorry...

I feel it's justified. The graphics on the PSX version are horrible. ;)

Works like a charm for me :) Just download the DivX codecs and a decent video player (winamp won't work)
