From the e-mail I sent krisevo:
Right-click on the download link, and choose "Save As Target...", or a
similar menu item depending on the browser you are using. Save it to your disk as TRTxx.SV1, where xx is a two-digit number that isn't used by another game. Personally, I'd recommend you download and use my Saved Game Manager (http://www.savedgamemanager.uk.tt) to copy downloaded games to your TTD dir, without having to worry about filenames.
The technical reason for you getting a screen of garbage is that there isn't a MIME type for SV1 files, so they are downloaded as plain text by some browsers (eg, Netscape).

Do the following files exist:
C:\Moje Dokumenty\Gry\Transport Tycoon\Editor\TTD Save Game Manager\TESTDLL\TEST.DLL
C:\Moje Dokumenty\Gry\Transport Tycoon\Editor\TTD Save Game Manager\TESTCPP\RELEASE\TESTCPP.DLL
If so, try going to a DOS prompt and typing:
(two seperate commands). See if that helps.
C:\Moje Dokumenty\Gry\Transport Tycoon\Editor\TTD Save Game Manager\TESTDLL\TEST.DLL
C:\Moje Dokumenty\Gry\Transport Tycoon\Editor\TTD Save Game Manager\TESTCPP\RELEASE\TESTCPP.DLL
If so, try going to a DOS prompt and typing:
Code: Select all
regsvr32 "C:\Moje Dokumenty\Gry\Transport Tycoon\Editor\TTD Save Game Manager\TESTDLL\TEST.DLL"
regsvr32 "C:\Moje Dokumenty\Gry\Transport Tycoon\Editor\TTD Save Game Manager\TESTCPP\RELEASE\TESTCPP.DLL"

Ah, no, wait, I see the problem! It's to do with localisation and so on. TTSGM compares versions in a bit of a hackish way, in some cases, and hardcodes the difference between a major and minor version with '.'. In your case though, it's ',' though, and TTSGM doesn't like this. I'll fix this for a future version.
