TTO saved games

Post by collingwood »

I've started playing this one two years ago, on my WinME computer. Now I'm using XP and I could only play this with a DOS simulator, which is incredibly slow...

If anyone here is still playing the original transport tycoon, then try this out. I've got a worthy opponent here.

In case you're using DOSbox, try pressing Ctrl + F12 a couple of times until you're at about 20000 cpu cycles. It should be at full speed then. That's how I've been doing it.

One time I tried that in the dosbox but my PC gets lagged tremendously, and works even better with 5000 cycles, at this the new games have a little lag at creating the new games and loading/saving but works better than in 20000. And the most strange is that I have a Pentium IV at 2.8 Ghz. Some solution?

BTW, for not off-toping, here is my savegame.
