yes they are the same, but I think TTO has in some ways better graphics for some industrial building (ore mine, factory which is smaller), but for the rest, I don't see any differences....

The grass is slightly lighter too - there are a number of subtle differences between the TTO and TTD graphics.

I could, but I'm on XP right now, so I can't. But in TTO, there are no fields - it's just one industry. In TTD, you have fields for miles around...

actually farms are very diff, in TTO they are a big block(i think 4x4) (oil refinery style) area where you dont need to build over farmland to get to the farm itself..TTD is self explanatory.

yup...and that's a good part of TTO, because is TTD I think the look of the landscape is fscked up when there is a farm...I mean...there is a lot of space used by the fields, but the fields do not have any influence on the production of the farm(do they?)

How would photos of the screen be? I've had a lot of practice on that...long story! Now I have a virus checker that's actually compatible with WinME I may be able to get the game up and running again, woohoo!

As for my opinion on the graphics, I much preferet TTO, it was lighter with less stupid trees! Ahhhh less trees! And with the expansion pack too...sweet!

You started and ended earlier, so you had some other vehicles, like in the beginning the Ginzu A3 and the Hereford Tiger Bus. Most of the other vehicles are the same (although I thought the SH 8P was SH 6P at the time.)

I remember ranting a lot about this on the thread where someone wanted the title screen of TTO. Just use VTHIEF! It's not all that hard - run the program, press F12 to save a screenshot. Then use the VTFVIEW (or whatever) program, and press 'B' (I think) to save as a BMP.
