It started in 1930 so there were lots more steam locomotives: Gresley A3, Gresley D9, Stanier Crab, Jinty class, Bullied Q1, is that it?? There was one earlier bus: called the "Hereford Tiger", though what that is in real life I am not sure. There was also one extra locomotive later on: the BREL class 56, which came out in the mid-70s and was a slowish but high horsepower diesel designed for freight. All the silly futuristic style aircraft in the deluxe version were not in the original version.

I think that is about it :-)

I forgot to mention that in the original game, some of the statistics were slightly different, for example, the Gresley A4 had a top speed of 90mph instead of 80. And in the very first release (without the scenario editor) the vehicles actually displayed their correct names, not the made-up ones.

In the original game the manangers' faces were all white. There were no black managers. Maybe someone complained on racial discrimination grounds....

Some older monitors were not as clever as that: trying to use an unsupported resolution could damage them. But if the monitor is less than 3 years old then things are probably safe.

And what do you think the forum runs from? A toaster?

I am almost certain the server will have some sort of firewall. What exactly I do not know, but I expect it will.
