Original vehicle names

While I love Transport Tycoon Deluxe (even more so with TTDPatch or OpenTTD), I orignally played the UK release of Transport Tycoon with the real vehicle names and everything. I've been thinking for a while of digging up my old CD, playing it through DOSBox, making a list of the name changes, and changing the names in TTD one-by-one (and extrapolating as far as I can for the new vehicles), but I thought I'd check if someone else has done this already.

So have I hit upon an idea someone else already had, or (gulp) should I go looking for that CD?

That works great with TTDPatch, but is there any way to use this with OpenTTD?

OTTD already has the Original Names included. Check in your 'lang' folder for the file "origveh.lng".

In game, select 'game options' -> then on Language, select "Original vehicle names (ENG)". That should do it
