You can edit savegames by renaming them to *.scn and opening them in the editor. But all you company's belonginga will be removed from the game when you do so.

if U have the newest Nightly build U can press X (transparent buildings) and all the trees will be invisible - TOTALLY invisible..
this option has to be Enabled in "configure patches" options menu.
I find this EXTREMLY useful when building a track..

don't know if this was available on earlier versions than mine ( I have r113b)

Invisible trees could be in menu, and it could have "X" hotkey. Any thoughts?

This topic will probably need splitting (and moving to Suggestions forum).

Urrrr? :?

The X hotkey turns most things invisible (there is a bug with invisible factories in r117 - I will check it out later), but there is now a patch so trees can be made invisible too.

By "the editor" though, dominik81 means the Scenario Editor, not TTDX Editor. ;)

I just wanted it splitted: In menu, there could be "Invisible trees" item as well as "Transparent buildings", not just as a patch, something under T. B. I want it this way because invisibility isn't that much similar to transparency.
The "X" hotkey... where could it be better? I think with I. T., because in map the trees occupy more space than buildings, and if I can't see throuht them, I'm more annoyed .

Although I didn't look into the code, this works: I'm always working with trains. So: try to check "Full Load" in orders. In a few months the coal mine's employees will be happy "we have work" and they will increase production! Omit that stupid story and try it!

wait a minute-how can U get over 2000t production of coal???
My personal max (I EVER saw) was round 540t... is there any way to increase production but without cheating and editing???
I don't think that this :
check "Full Load" in orders. In a few months the coal mine's employees will be happy "we have work" and they will increase production!
works cause I ALWAYS have full load, and there's ALWAYS a train on the station and I'm taking the coal right away-no waiting around..I plan the size of my trains so they would be full almost right away..and there's always next one right around the corner and my production almost never increases...
...and even better, I never get a rating (percentage transported) over 60-70%...HOW?? I'm taking ALL the coal away ass fast as it can be done but it's still never over 70% transported..why????

I had a coalmine with 1080t but only once for about 6months; not much.
And the better is the rating the less percentage will be that porduction will decrease; although this is almost random (increase; decrease)
