What's so special about funny town names? In a single-player game, you can rename any town manually. On some multi-player servers, it is possible to found a new town with an arbitrary name. Not to mention that there's an entire name generator dedicated to "silly" names.

That said, the default generator of town names can yields not just funny names like Lardhead or Chadtown, but even blatantly obscene ones.

I once created a scenario with music and other names in it. Made up the names myself... Like Pink Fjord. But maybe it wasn't particularly good.
