Post by andythenorth »

OpenTTD 1.9.0 is released.

:D

Find the release post here https://www.openttd.org/news/2019/04/01 ... 1-9-0.html

Find the download, and the changelog in the usual places.

This is one of the biggest releases in recent years, OpenTTD contributions are significantly up, including many contributions from a new cohort of devs.
GitHub has a great overview of contributions here https://github.com/OpenTTD/OpenTTD/graphs/contributors

Happy train, ship, road vehicle and plane building (also Zellepins) :)

I just finished configuring 1.8.

If I install the zip version will my changes to *.CFG files be unimpacted. I have changed options, fonts, zbase, window size, and hot keys.

Thanks!

OpenTTD 1.9 will pick up all your existing config file changes, you should be quite safe.

Let me be the first to not complain and compliment the devs with this release.
