Things to look out for/test:

Feature: Option to adjust font size separately from GUI size
This has already shed a few bugs, so it would be good to stress test it a bit. One of the bugs that were fixed shortly before beta3 was in switching font size multiple times without exiting and restarting the game, so that's also something to look out for.

Change: [OSX] Improved scrolling behaviour when using touchpads
This may or may not make some mice with scroll wheels do wrong things. Everyone playing on Mac please report your experiences with panning vs. zooming the map :)

Change: Owner of vehicle with exclusive transport rights may now load cargo from neutral stations
Town exclusive transportation rights may not be the most used feature, but it had a change! You should now be able to use neutral stations (e.g. oil rig stations) in towns where you have bought exclusive rights, previously nobody would be able to use neutral stations when anyone had bought exclusive rights. Test that this actually works as intended, and doesn't prevent or allow someone to load/unload cargo somewhere they should/should not be able to.

Change: Skip reliability decay if servicing is disabled
If you disable breakdowns, and enable no servicing when breakdowns are disabled, it means all vehicles should now have their reliability rating frozen. When breakdowns are enabled (at either reduced or normal rate) reliability should always decay as normal.

If you are a translator (or want to become one), this would be a good time to check out the translations for missing or outdated strings.

Good stuff so far, many thanks for this.

Regarding the font changes, is there still a way to use a different font? I find the default font quite uncomfortable to read so in previous versions I've changed it in openttd.cfg and turned aa on.

Specifying custom fonts has not been changed at all (although the font zoom setting does affect the size).

Perhaps I am missing something here, but in the OSX version openttd.cfg no longer has anywhere to specify the font to use? I have attached the version in question.

That was a bug in the build platform that did not include FreeType support on OS X. 1.9.0-RC1 should have it included.
