While the official "park" in OpenTTD is always a single tile,I was struck by the larger open space that the city has apparently zoned next to Fort Sondfield station, without any ompetus for development.
I suppose I could knock down the fountain and lay a road over the two stone-outcrop tiles and spur the development of new buildings within the station catchment without cutting down any trees myself,
but I'm inclined to just let the city do their thing.
The 2cc-in-NML set has really changed my strategy with its high volume models...in previous games I'd have gone just about all maglev by now but just as the NARS double stack intermodal changes the calculations
for capacity of a freight train, being able to send a thousand-passenger train at over 200 mph is something a normally sized maglev just can't do.
