which newgrf's do I need for as much variety in the housing?
I like a great variation in the buildings in my cities.
I use:
- total town replacement set
- NLHS Dutch houses
- Town and Industry - UK Houses
- Swedish Houses Set
- UK Town Set
any suggestions for more/other Newgrf's?
and is it possible to use all in a game or are there limits?

viewtopic.php?f=26&t=45736 is a favourite of mine and the 1000 building set , the LA/SF/ Skyscraper sets add a nice variety of buildings .

There isn't a limit beyond the normal limit on number of active NewGRFs, but not all of them will work in Arctic orTropic.

it is possible to change the sequence in which the newgrf"s are loaded. Can somebody please explain the significance of that to me?
I added the SD and SF Skyscrapper sets and they are at the bottom of the list. I don't see any of the skyscrapers appear in the cities though. Maybe when I move these to the top of the list?

Moving them higher may make them more prevalent, but they will only be seen in fairly large cities with dense centers featuring the highest town zone.

changing the order of house sets should not do anything, unless you're running into the limit of total houses possible, which would give you other error messages
whether houses appear depends mostly on town size (number of houses, not population) and current year, but NewGRFs may add any arbibtrary conditions
