Compatibility

Post by FlipFlipsen »

Hello forum,

I play TTD for windows, always with the newest patch. i.e. 2.01 alpha 27.

I copied the complete TTD map to a new map called OpenTTD.

Most of the graphics work fine, i also have a gridless terrain at TTD.
However, the gridless terrain is not at OpenTTD.
Also the DBSETXLW is not working.

How do I now, which graphics are working and which graphics doesn't work.

officially none of them. However some people have managed to alter their grf files and get that to work

There are work in progress to support custom grf files, but it's not done yet

In general all 'new' that alter existing graphics, but don't add new ones (with that I mean different looking bridges, airports, stations, etc.) are working (file that are in exe format to change your grf files). However, adding new graphics, eg. DBSET, arcticset, all other sets in development, are as of yet unsupported (files that go in the newgrf folder).

Eh skip that, please read dominik's post in: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=162140#162140
