Method #1
1. Make sure the openttd server is running, and you're able to connect to the server, and use rcon command
2. Use rcon command to have the openttd on the server download the latest newgrfs and other downloadable contents

Code: Select all

rcon password "content update"
rcon password "content select all"
rcon password "contant download"
3. Disconnect from the server game
4. Without being connected to a server, or having started a game, set up newgrf the way you like it, including all parameters set the way you like it.
5. Close the newgrf config window, and close local copy of openttd
6. Stop (close) the server copy of openttd
7. Find [newgrf] section in the local copy of openttd.cfg
8. Copy that section to openttd.cfg on the server
9. Start a new game on the server

Method #2
1. Repeat steps 1 through 3 in method 1
2. Create a new map locally, with all NewGRFs you want loaded
3. Upload the map to the server
4. Load the map to start a new game on the server
