zBase GRF

Post by tykemalcolm »

I have a question regarding the zBase 32bit GRF package.
I have a desktop and a laptop running W10 and managed to install it on those.
I also have another desktop running Vista, but when I list the GRF packages from the main menu, it does not list ZBase and I know it's not installed - there isn't an option during setup.
Any help is appreciated.

The installer will ask if you would like to copy and install the TTD base set from the original CD or installation, or ask if you want to download OpenGFX. You will need to download zBase separately, after which it will show up as available to select in game settings.

zBase is a baseset, and is listed under "Basesets" in the Game Options window.

You can manually install it by copying it into the "baseset" sub-directory of your install. Where that is exactly, depends on your setup, please read the readme file that you received with the program for details.
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.
