Hi All

I am pretty new to this but i have been playing A LOT and not really getting any where. I really ;like the Trains, but it is hard to make a profit. any advice wpuld be awesome.

In the dropdown from the charts there is a cargo payment graph. Find a cargo that pays well.
Assuming you start at 1950 in temperate climate, coal from the mine to the power station is a good one.
Find a mostly flat place to connect both industries at a 50 tile distance.

Train about 4 tiles long, make longer if production rises.
Try to have a train loading always (full load).

Likely you'll need a double set of tracks (one to the power plant and one back), with signalling.
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.
