AI and Cargodist

Hey guys,

i got a question, which I couldn't answer myself by searching the forum.
Problem is the following: Does Cargodist also distribute between an AI and me.
Point is, that I am not really interested in setting up a road network.
So would an AI collect passengers or cargo at the production points, drop them off at a station, where my trains take products to another station and then the AI distributes them further?
Or is there any other possibility to only take care of trains, ships and planes and let the road network run on itself?

I'm not really sure about that, but i believe no. The only way to have this is i believe using the Infrastructure Sharing patch

The AI will only distribute to your stations if the AI is playing on your company. If it's a competitor company, then it only distributes cargo and passengers to its own stations. Cargodist has nothing to do with that.

AIs don't have to be opponents. An AI can be cooperative and assist you in gameplay. But they can only do so if both of you are playing on the same company.
