I've made a title game which is located partly on a few small islands and two bigger islands.

It is maybe a bit crowdy but it has no less than 8 different companies in there. All transport modes. Block signals and path signals. A small airport that is visible on even 640x480 and a bigger one that shows on 1280x768 or more. On 640x4800 you don't see any ships, but that could be changed since there is water to use.

640x480:

1920x1080 (widowed, so it is slightly less than that):

There is plenty of buoys to guide the ships.

And no, no newGRFs. It is just the OpenGFX pack.

@Zuu - very, very nice. But why it is completely flat?

I don't see a problem with that, the flatness makes it nice and simple (and easy to build on).

i think it shows how few people actually use OpenGFX at all often, by the amount of people saying that they have used NewGRFs

just thought i'd point it out

Is opntitle.sav actually compatible with 1.0 beta 2? It crashed upon loading when I tried it.

I didn't want to make the islands hilly, and my first plan was to have hills on the mainland, but I couldn't find out in the scenario editor how to remove part of the dessert since I don't think it looks good with a high dessert hill. There is some small height changes though, so it is not *completely* flat.

Nope, it is made using r18768. As far as I know 1.0 has not yet been branched of trunk, so therefor it is still safe to use a nightly to make the title games.

Changing opentitle.dat to .sav and loading it crashed r18768 too.

Zuu, use Ctrl + Desert tile button to remove the desert.

CommanderZ: Starting from 1024x... you will see the rail line. I could add a rail station at the land close to the rubber plantation at the upper left corner with a rail line going to the up right partly in a tunnel. Or where the white road depot is now, there could be a rail-station.

FHZ: Thanks for the information. Good to know for future, but too late for this game.

I like it - and I assume that there are a lot of vehicles moving around? Perhaps a larger, and very busy, airport would be nicer?

It might just be personal choice, but I don't like too many one-way roads, they don't look too nice.

I used multiplayer to get the different companies. That technique is allowed allowed since a multiplayer game can be loaded in single player without problems.

Here is an update with more normal rail. It sounds more though since it uses steam locomotives.

Sadly, original_windows graphics make it look much less... "clean".

I would really like to create a demo game by myself, but for now:

Somebody should really make multiple changing (every game start) title games available like auto changing wallpapers every 1h on the desktop. This way many nice sceneries could be visualized composed of only small subset of all the features + it's easy to provide some Christmas or Easter (or other religions) holidays atmosphere on certain dates.

Convert it to Savegame and test it ;)
Feel free to edit it!

Well these One-Way-Roads are Highways, if you know better methods to have the system of a highway "Feel free to edit it!"
Credit me ;)

Also petert - we're not trying to show off competition. It probably looks cleaner without so many different companies everywhere.
