Hi willysz, willysz wrote:hi man, i'm from indonesia too, thanks for the grf.
Glad to see another Indonesian here
Honestly, right now, I've no time yet to improve this grf further. Maybe I'll come back when I've got bored with Trans - AI.
Re: Project: Indonesia Town Names
Hi. I'm Indonesian too. thanks for the map.
Re: Project: Indonesia Town Names
Where do I place the grf file for it too work? btw i'm indonesia too and would like to contribute...
Re: Project: Indonesia Town Names
In the 'data' directory. I'm not sure though if you enable it, or change the town names in the games options menu, hopefully somebody who does know can leave a message.
Re: Project: Indonesia Town Names
welcome, but it's not a map. Just Indonesian town name generator.crayon66 wrote:Hi. I'm Indonesian too. thanks for the map.
If you're using Bananas Online content, it should work automatically. However, if you've downloaded it manually from this forum,Gondrong wrote:Where do I place the grf file for it too work?
(as petert said above) you could place it in "data" folder along with other grfs.
fanioz wrote: Usage:
You need to load Indonesian Town Names BEFORE you start a new game.
Choose the Town Names at the Game Options GUI.
The svn repository was at http://fanioz.svn.beanstalkapp.com/idtowns/, but it now has been removed. Read here. Download the .nfo file. And come again with your modification or go talk hereGondrong wrote:btw i'm indonesia too and would like to contribute...
Re: Project: Indonesian Town Names
Hi fanioz,
I'm from indonesian too, here I make the v0.5 beta 7 GRF for Indonesian Town Names Project.
In this version, I include a total of 496 cities on Indonesia, 33 cities as province capital, 461 cities and regency capital level.
I use this http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daftar_ibu ... _Indonesia and http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daftar_kab ... _Indonesia for the source of information on building this GRF.
Regards,
ayrus02

Re: [NewGRF] Indonesian Town Names :
Hi ayrus02,
Ah, a great update come . I've updated the first page and would upload this to Bananas soon.
Currently we are (test) using subversion repository at assembla. See here
My other (next) plan was :
1. Register at http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/townnames and use a mercurial repository instead
2. Use the NML as source to generate the NFO/GRF.
Thanks for contributing

Re: [NewGRF] Indonesian Town Names :
Hi again fanioz,
This morning I manage to complete the remaining city name with part combination method to use all the 32-bit random ID for town names.
The version are v0.9-beta-8.
The total number of town name it can generate are 3310 names
33 from province capital
461 from cities and regency capital
2816 from generation of 3 part name combination (this are generated name, not always real town names)
Here are the 32-bin random ID usage that I use to create this GRF:
The part for Other Town Name are:
PART 1
PART 2
PART 3
The part above will generate town names like: Sukasari, Sukasari Hulu, Sidobaru Atas, Cibanyu, etc.
If you (fanioz) or other member of this forum has suggestion about the combination name I will gladly accomodate it to town name combination that this GRF generate.
I've checkout the assembla SVN repository, and I use some of your file there as source to create this NFO.
Let's start registering this project to http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/townnames
For the NML is this compiler only run on Linux? Cos, I've only run windows system right now, is there any tutorial how to build, run, or using this NML compiler?

ayrus02
PS: I've apply to the google group you've create, but my membership are still pending approval.
