newspaper note

hi everyone,

years ago I was a great fan of Transport Tycoon, but during the last years I lost interest in this "old-fashined" game. Since a few days my interest is rekindled because I found the Open TTD page in the web.

After installing I tried to start a new game but after a few minutes playing I was attacked by many newspaper notes with catch lines. I'm not able to play. Every new game-day i get many new headlines. I can't close them all, before I get some new one. So is it possible to reduce this notes?

I started my game in the year 1950, easy level.
