There are 2 versions on eDonkey network.

One french and one english one. I'm downloading both, I'll tell you if it isn't fakes (I hope )

PS: if they are not fake, do am I allowed to post the links here ?

Downloading it is warez, yes... But UbiSoft released an illegal version so... Robbers vs Outlawers who wins ? :D

I guess it depends. If the links are to dodgy sites as such (ie, warez networks), then no. If they're just ED2K links or whatever, then maybe.

You can't refuse one ED2K link and allow another (see TTD Download Locations topic).

Who's refused ED2K links? I said a definite "no" to warez sites, not ED2K links.

a) ask Peter about it and see how he thinks/feels, it is afterall his game
b)he does not post links to these sites, but that is only because it wouldnt be so good for his court case

DC == Direct Connect == No warez-sites.

what i would write is a list of users on DC that share TTT. It would be good for some hours up to a few days

No warez SITES, but still warez.

I oppose the publication of a link. It won't support the 'team' (or one-man-army, actually)

Don't be so sure, trying out beta 4 can be tempting to buy the full product when released. It has raised my interest.

What is demo for then?

a demo of a beta version is quite limited ;)
especially there is no way to "play" a game. tutorial is too much limited to get an idea of the game.

so, for ed2k link, for me IT'S warez. warez is not "the site", but the short version of of "warehouse".
ed2k IS a software warehouse. and its contents can be as much illegal as a warez site.

but for ttt, as it's a beta, and distributed illegaly, for me there is no matter to share it. anyway, now everybody know it's on ed2k network, so posting the linkis not usefull ;)

That depends on the end of the court case.

not quite:

final game, yes, most likely. and i doubt he will lose the court case, just depends how long it goes on for.

cost: most likely, unless he gets an aweful lot of money from the court case

who owns the rights: Peter Dobrovka, he always did. VX and Ubisoft did it without his permission.

Any word on how to obtain the later beta versions?
