I've added the flags to stop AIs/GSs and towns from building these bridges.
I also added the pillar flags for completeness' sake.
I moved whether to use bridge slots 10-12 or 13-15 to a parameter, such that the GRF works both with trunk and JGRPP.
Thank you!
I will update the GRF probably tomorrow.

Trunk is not too happy about that parameter...
Starting a game with the parameter off I get this fatal error, even though the parameter is off:

Example556.png (17.43 KiB) Viewed 535 times
Only after I activate the parameter (during gameplay) and then de-activate the parameter again, everything works as intended… :?:

All is fine on your Patchpack.

Any idea's?
This is the code (I only altered the description of the GRF and the GRF-ID, nothing else):
modular_wider_bridges_v002.nfo

If you want to check this for yourself, I already uploaded the GRF to Bananas (before thoroughly checking Trunk  )

By the way, NFO-renum complains about this:

Code: Select all

//!!Warning (209): Offset 7: Found byte 1 of a 2-byte escape while reading byte 3 of a 4-byte field.
   20 * 9 0D 04 \D= \DR FE FF 08 \w312 // param 4: bridge sprite base (104 * 3)

Oh dear, I thought I'd fixed the trunk error issue, but it seems I overlooked it. Sorry about that.

The NFOrenum warning is not really a problem, but I've removed the escape so it doesn't complain.

I've attached another version. This also fixes another issue I just noticed when doing a test with many other GRFs.

Cheers mate!
This seems to work fine now.

I modified this so that the front bridge works better with JGRPP custom bridge heads. Just a minor change, here's the GRF and the source, all credits to Quast65 and Andrew350.

Thank you.
What exactly did you change?

No problem!

Code: Select all

  330 modular_wider_bridges/gfx/modular_front_road.png 8bpp 67 53 33 20 -24 -2 normal //0-1-4 front x 59
...now reads as...

Code: Select all

  330 modular_wider_bridges/gfx/modular_front_road.png 8bpp 67 53 33 20 -26 -1 normal //0-1-4 front x 59
It's a very minor change, but it fixes the SW/NE view which previously had a hole in it when using custom bridge heads.
I have Asperger's, please be easy on me about stuff. My apologies if I've been a problem for you in the past.
