2x1 - your proposal: LINK
2x2 - not sure which store? LINK 1 or LINK 2

proposes something like this, the stores now have sloping roofs, a high mast with the shop's logo is characteristic here

I'm OK with this high ;) When you put it properly, it looks good. And you have to use good building set.

I like it! Could do with an entrance though :)

BTW, you obviously use TTRS, but do you combine it with any others?

Edit: I see some Swedish Houses in there too.

I think the skyscrapers have very short floors. Only 5px, while in other NewGRFs 6px seems to be the minimum.
It makes it look a bit weird when surrounded by flats with 7px per floor.
No pics no clicks. Seriously.

The entrance is from behind, you can't see it :D This one is finished, I'll do it with next ones ;)

I don't use Total Building Replacement Set, I don't like buildings after 2000 and few ones before this age.

I'm using:
JapanSet3: Buildings
UK Town Set v2.2
Swedish Houses Set 1.1.2

I'm obviously blind. Haha. Those sets seem to go along nicely in the modern age! I'm usually stuck in the 60's :)

Thanks! And I love the shade / reflection in that new building. These grfs give me some inspiration for the next theme... or is the fact that you're making them a sign that your entry is going for the big city as well...

This is turning out lovely

I see you're approaching height limits, so I guess this is is a nice place to drop this information. I did some experiments to see how tall I could make sprites before rendering issues occur.
For houses this is 223px*. Objects are significantly more lenient, with a 231px maximum.
If you want to turn these into houses you have 7 more pixels to play with. For this I did use the tallest bounding box it would allow me to have

ImageImage

* I've been able to get artifacts up to 218px tall, but I can't reliably reproduce those problems. So 223px is mostly going to be fine.
No pics no clicks. Seriously.

Oh, thank you for an information. ;)
I've tried to create template for height 300px and it works for an object, but it's really too much :D Next one will be smaller, few ones with 2x2 or 2x3 versions.
I draw according to the current mood, so I will see if the next object will be a house, market, skyscraper, warehouse or something else.
Fredinho wrote: 03 Mar 2021 21:34
Glad you like it  I have to edit a little these lights/shadows, few pixels look strange.
I'm in 2038, so I need some modern buildings there :)

Year ago when I started play openttd (again) and I was limited by 63 newgrfs, I tried every graphic and I chose the best ones  Later I found JGR's version  :D

Sorry if this already has been answered but where can I find the 1.2 version? It is not on Bananas and not in ingame online content.

Yess, I wanted to start last week and I prepared high multi-options template for it, but I did other things. I'd like to have it this month with more colour typers.
