Been looking at your objects this morning. I hope to pinch some for Industries.

Airport Terminal I think go great and maybe use some for the Passenger Terminals I did.

Warehouses and Residence will use some of those too. If I add several as Industries and have them accept FOOD is should solve the problem with Template Climate.

Well done.


When I first met fridaemon he did not have a clue how to make objects for them game, but he kept practicing and now look what he an do. He turned the tables and now he teaching me.

Haha .. I did the same .. we do what we think is best and months or years later we discover some hidden talent we never knew we had and find ways to improve things.

My object sets really needs to be re-sorted better.

BUILDING SET

I started preparations for the upcoming building set. Here are first buildings. Not sure which building from these two reds I'm gonna use. I like shadow one more.

Just in regards to buildings; while each distinct 'building' takes up an ID slot, you can have multiple graphical variations of one building and they don't take up the extra slots. I like the look of both buildings! Variety is good.

fridaemon was kind enough to PM ask if I can add them to AuzLandscapeObjects, I will also add them to AuzTownObjects for those who like clouds in the towns.

Being 1x1 with overlaps be interesting if planes will fly over or under the overlap. Have planes got a dedicated height they fly?

Little White Clouds.


I just added the clouds to AusLandscapeObjects that fridaemon was kind enough to PM me.

There are 1x1 objects that overlap 1 tile in each direction.

There are 4 different heights. The 4 single clouds in image shows the 4 clouds at the 4 various heights.

Depends how you place them you can make thick clouds or just some small scattered clouds.

Minor problem each cloud takes up 1 tile on the ground.

Give it a try and let fridaemon and I know whatcha think.

lol, thats not even a bad idea for them being able to move ;-)
However, as they probably would look best when they move very slowly, I think that coding them as ships would be the only good option...
As they would otherwise clog up other types of traffic too much.

Planes mostly have fixed straight flightpaths between airports, you need something that follows some kind of "track"
So it moves a bit more irregular.
A river is then a good option.

It´s not a plane it's a UFO hidden in a cloud. 😅

Or Road vehicle, just imagine a cloud chasing another cloud and traffic jam of clouds. :D

Hi! ;) I'm not dead ... but in my free time I'm working on long time planned things. In April I showed you my idea about overlapping bus parking lots, finally I did next steps. I work with these pieces:

Few more will come.
As you can see, I work with Ufiby's road set and flogeza's City Objects. I asked him for permission to use his basic grass template. With crediting him he agreed. I look at your screenshots and I see that you mostly use City Objects and VAST objects. So I decided to do these bus stop overlaps in these 2 variants.

Now I'm done with CO version, and with 2 views.

I chose Špajdy's buses I use the most. I used original bus stops, little edited.

GarryG overtook me and he did gas stations. He moved it to high level, but I want to introduce my own gas stations (Czech Ones). I work with an idea of modular system which is compatible with AuzCarParks. KFC, McDonald, maybe Burger King, they will be adapted accordingly.

2 new bus/trolleybus/tram depots are done. Other 2 are in to do list for next update.
