Foundries in sub-arctic climate have some issues with their snowy sprites, otherwise haven't seen any major bugs in my first 15mins of toying with it.

I've not downloaded and tested yet, but in what way did you merge these two sets?

i took the grafic and animation from FIRS, the Oil Rig from ECS and the stockpiling from SPI.
more ore less nothing else then copy and paste and a lot of trial and error
@ Aegir: those both are fixed but the snow is still open for: Cannery, Diamond, Iron, limstone, Pyrite, and Soda Ash Mine, also for the Power Plant

Done deal. I'll give it a crack and report back.

The setting for making factories generate in towns is horrible, awful, painful and awkward and I wish more industry sets had it. Thank you for making my life pain.

I've had a quick look at it and didn't see any obvious problems. I'll start a new game shortly and get back to you.

I finally had a chance to look at this. This seems like a nice alternative to FIRS now that Andythenorth has officially ended support for the FIRS Extreme economy in FIRS 4.

Any plans on tapping into the new features that allow you to add up to 16 input and output cargoes to industries? I've got some suggestions. :)

Can someone please remind me how many industries you can have in a game?

Thanks,

Pete.

If you mean the number of NewGRF industry sets? As many as you want, to a maximum of 64 total NewGRFs in standard OpenTTD, with some patch packs extending that to 255.

If you mean number of types of industries, it's 127 as of OpenTTD 1.9.0.

That's what I meant. Thanks Kamnet!
