Generally, yes. In all 2cc color addons took only popular locomotives, like F and E units, GP and SD. My mod will contain small popularity, but diversity pack. Pointly, played with CLW, I wanted to create anything same in OpenTTD. When I worked with GRFMaker I thought, what all will be easy, but now, when I learned NML, I understand what ot was a great work.

IIRC the only thing you need to remove is the power.

If you set a Rail Vehicle to Power : 0 HP or kw it'll be treated as a wagon instead. Remember this in the future incase you guys want to make a rail slug (I dont think a wagon will use the tractive effort value if its coded with 0 hp)

If you want to say, make a rail slug or steam generator unit that works like an engine without power, you'll at least need to give them 1hp/kw to make them function as an engine.

You did some errors in the tracking table : these engines are in "Electric" though they are diesel engines :
- Siemens Charger
- EMD SW1
- EMD F59PHI
- EMD GP-38H3
- GE Genesis (except the P32AC-DM)

They are diesel-electric, so no difference in what category I send them.

Diesel locomotives have the problem that one can't convey such high power over a mechanical transmission as a car has. That's why most of them are either diesel-hydraulic or diesel-electric. The latter has a generator coupled to the diesel motor, which powers the electric motors on the axles. Diesel-electric locomotives still mostly run on un-electrified lines.

Diesel-electric means they have an electric transmission - these locomotives cannot be alimented by a catenary, though they can go on lines with catenaries.
