In last time I worked with new railtypes and I can't made, what trains, which are aviable on one railtype will be aviable on my. Can anyone help me?

No, 32bpp means what I use the palette with 16 millions colors, simply all RGB-entertable colors. 8bpp is the TTD palette, 256, or 2^8 colors.acs121 wrote:But then it's 32bpp...though 8 x 2 = 16.

32bpp can also use the default TTD colors. 32bpp, in addition to the palette, has higher detail levels.

No. Tony is right: 32bpp refers only to the colour depth, and if used the artist can use any colour in existence. Any zoom level of sprite can be drawn with it: BRStations I think currently uses 32bpp and only normal zoom. In addition, the background needs to be alpha transparency rather than white/blue. The original palette colours could in theory be used with 32bpp, but there is no reason to.
That is to say: "detail" is independent of colour depth
What he's done with that sprite is a good job of extra zoom. This can be on x2 or x4 levels, which gives more detail to the sprite. It can be in 8bpp, using the DOS or Windows palette, or be drawn in 32bpp, as can any sprite.
(This is a misunderstanding I see a lot and it frustrates me)

I plan to add extra zoom sprites when circa 85% of the work will be ended. Now -new update, R17 added.

Do you mean you will be doing 85% of the work in 1x, and then starting 2x? No, I only tried to draw in 2x zoom. However, the 32bpp blitter will always use 32bpp sprites if available, including scaling other sizes to 1x. So if your 2x sprites are 32bpp, the 8bpp 1x sprite can just be a placeholder.
